Such a cool and relaxing home. It was beautifully decorated and we really loved the kitchen, we cooked many meals.
Havenwood was hands down the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in! From booking to checkout, communication was fast, reliable, and incredibly helpful. We received a detailed guidebook, and Rachel was wonderful about answering all of our questions. The house was absolutely beautiful and pristine—not a speck of dust or dirt anywhere. Every decoration, tile, piece of art, and furniture choice felt intentional and thoughtfully selected. The rooms were spacious, the bedrooms and bathrooms were gorgeous, and every space had a purpose. We expected to spend most of our time in the game room, but the cozy living room became our favorite spot for morning coffee and planning our day. The amenities truly set Havenwood apart. We brought so many things we normally need at Airbnbs and barely unpacked them because EVERYTHING was already there. At no point did we think, “We need this.” It was all provided! The perfect home for our girls’ trip. We are so grateful for this stay and the hosts!

Tremendous house, and the house had so many amenities, including great spaces for entertainment outdoors, and in the basement… Loved it!
No regrets on this one. Havenwood was absolutely beautiful! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. Rachel was incredibly responsive and answered all of our questions quickly. There were five of us staying at the house, and there was more than enough room for everyone. There was so much to do that we didn't even get a chance to enjoy the fire pit or hot tub! The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked and had more amenities than any Airbnb we've stayed in. Literally everything we needed was already there. The location was perfect, too. Havenwood is close to tubing, hiking, and Harpers Ferry Brewing, so there was no shortage of things to do nearby. We also found the best local coffee and breakfast at Joan and Joe's. If you go, do yourself a favor and get the crème brûlée donut. It was amazing! We only wish we could have stayed longer, and we definitely plan to return in the fall. Havenwood is a true gem, and Rachel and Jason are exceptional hosts. We highly recommend!
My husband and I stayed here for just under two weeks, and it was everything we hoped for. The cabin is incredibly cozy, peaceful, and tucked away in a wonderfully quiet location, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. It’s also conveniently close to the Maryland Heights Trail, which made it easy to enjoy some of the area’s best hiking. The cabin itself was exceptionally clean, beautifully furnished, and thoughtfully decorated. The kitchen was one of the best-stocked we’ve experienced in an Airbnb—it had everything we needed to comfortably prepare meals throughout our stay. The mattresses were extremely comfortable, and the water pressure was excellent as well, which is always a nice bonus. The basement made for a fantastic hangout space, and we had a great time playing darts in the evenings. Highly recommend this cabin!

What a beautiful cabin with the most amazing accommodations. Rachel has created a magical space in Harper’s Ferry. Nature literally comes to your door. Everything about this cabin was perfect. She has created each space with luxury and comfort in mind. We needed nothing during our stay except a trip to the grocery store. We had such a great experience and everything was really great. We were a family of 4 and find the space very accommodating with lots of space and let me not forget to mention how clean this place was wow! I honestly can not say enough about this beautiful cabin and our wonderful host Rachel! This is a must stay kinda place and we will definitely be back when we visit again.
The cabin is GORGEOUS! The attention to detail is incredible! We had a group of designers with us and we were all impressed. The beds were super comfortable and the kitchen is well appointed! The host was very friendly and we loved our stay!

We loved our stay at Rachel’s place. We visited for the long weekend and had four adults and three children in our group. I loved that she gave alternate directions for avoiding more of the windy roads at night The kitchen had everything needed for cooking, well stocked spices, coffee, tea and a nice little welcome basket of water and snacks. The home was well equipped, very clean and beautifully decorated. Rachel left detailed instructions in written and electronic form including a ton of recommendations for things to do. Rachel was responsive and friendly through the whole process. The hot tub was so relaxing and our children enjoyed the provided books and the movie room. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!
We had a wonderful stay at Rachel’s cabin. Everything was immaculate. This cabin was designed, built and decorated by talented people! This is definitely the place to go if you want to get away from the world, but enjoy all the comforts of home. Rachel was helpful and responsive throughout our stay. The cabin was cozy and inviting. When the weather was too hot to be outside, we loved the movie and game room on the lower level. And the outdoor space was as beautiful as the indoor space, perfect for relaxing, reading, and birdwatching. We would highly recommend and would definitely come back! Thank you Rachel for hosting us!
Havenwood is setup for a great stay. The interior is very well thought and visually appealing. The entire home screams leisurely mornings then afternoons at the local wineries and evening relaxation downstairs with games while enjoying the wine. I really like this space. It sits near the top of a hillside community on a gravel road so take your time going up. Make sure to hit the grocery store before heading up. While there is a country store at the bottom of the hill, it is more convenience store with some local products and wine. I will be back!
