Additionally, we are not a pet friendly property, aside from registered service animals per ADA requirements. Booking requests that exceed this limit or attempt to list additional guests only in the trip details rather than the official guest count cannot be accommodated and will be declined. A secure, unique door code will be sent prior to check-in for smooth and easy entry. 🏡 Guests have private access to the entire cabin and property, including: • All indoor living spaces • Hot tub & outdoor decks • Fire pit & gathering areas There are no shared spaces — the cabin and surrounding property are exclusively yours during your stay. Other things to note 🌲 Nature & Wildlife Havenwood is tucked into a peaceful wooded mountain setting filled with fresh air, starry skies, and local wildlife. Although the cabin is accessed primarily by paved roads, there are some steep hills and some gravel roads as you approach the house, as is common in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Standard vehicles do just fine on these roads, but AWD is needed during wintery weather conditions. 🦌 Deer and other wildlife are commonly seen in the area, and black bears may occasionally pass through. Please secure all trash in the provided bins with latches secure, lock cabin and car doors, and avoid leaving food outdoors unattended. 🐞 While the cabin is professionally maintained and treated, occasional seasonal bugs may make their way indoors — simply part of mountain living. Leaving doors & windows closed will mitigate this. 🛒 Stores & Shopping As the cabin is situated at the top of a hillside community, it is about 20 minutes to the nearest grocery store in Charles Town/Harper’s Ferry. If you do not wish to venture out, it’s recommended you stop at one of the many grocery stores on your way in, located off of Rt.340. ⚡️ Internet & Utilities • High-speed WiFi throughout the cabin • Mountain weather may occasionally impact power or road conditions, though outages are uncommon and typically resolved quickly 👨‍👩‍👧 Guest Considerations • Family friendly, but not childproofed (one Pack N Play, one booster seat, and child friendly dinnerware provided) • The upper loft is open to the living area below and best suited for older children and mobile adults • Due to the cabin’s original wood structure, some sound may travel between floors. House Rules

No parties or events. No firearms or ammunition inside the home. Please note hunting is not allowed on the property. HOT TUB: use of the hot tub is at guests’ own risk. Guests accept responsibility for their use and agree to release the host/property owner from liability for injury, illness, or property damage to the fullest extent permitted by law. Glass is not permitted in or around the hot tub; plastic drinkware is provided for your convenience. Please no glitter, confetti or taped streamers/banners to the wall with heavy adhesive or non paint friendly tape. Use fire pit and grill responsibly and follow all provided guidelines and ensure flames are out after use. Indoor fireplace not available for guest use due to insurance restrictions. Please no candles, incense, or other open flames inside the home. Additional cleaning fees may incur for smoking indoors, glass in hot tub, or extensive damage to the interior and exterior of the property.
